SRB Rewinds Limited was founded in 1996 by Steve Burley to fill a gap in the third party equipment repairs market for the specialist service of overhauling wet wound electric motors.
There are a large number of dry wound motor repairers who historically have undertaken this work. The problem was that, whilst the science is the same, the art and skill required for wet wound motors wasn't available. Most specific wet wound motor repairers were and still are integral to original equipment manufacturers, therefore, limiting the options for both End Users and Third Party pump repairers alike.
Now End Users and Third Party repairers can utilise the services of a like-minded company who offer the same, or in many cases, higher levels of experience at lower costs.
SRB has expanded its capability over the years and offer a full overhaul service including pumps, of all types, and the provision of spare parts to other repairers including bearings and terminal gland mouldings.
In addition to the Winding Shop we have designated fitting shop and machine shop, which allows us to undertake almost all operations we are likely to need in house.
All units are fully electrically tested, and in the case of a complete pump, hydraulically tested prior to leaving the factory giving our customers, and ourselves, peace of mind.
If for any reason a unit can not be transported to our workshop for Rewinding we will perform the task on customers premises.
